Important Note: JPEGmini Standard version was discontinued in 2018 and can not be purchased any longer.

The main differences between the Pro version in comparison to the Standard edition are:

  • JPEGmini Pro supports images with resolution of up to 128MP (Megapixels), while the Standard supports images with resolution of only up to 28MP.
  • JPEGmini Pro is multithreaded while the Standard is single threaded.  This makes for a very big speed difference when optimizing multiple images.
  • JPEGmini Pro supports multi resize export while the standard supports only a single resize export.
  • JPEGmini Pro is constantly maintained and updated. JPEGmini Standard edition does not get any further updates since 2018, when it was discontinued.
